Activo AB22 is a compact under-sink water filter combining a durable stainless-steel housing with a high performance antibacterial activated carbon block cartridge.
The coconut-based carbon block reduces PFAS, pesticides, chlorine, microplastics, selected heavy metals and a wide range of other potential impurities that can affect the quality, taste and odour of drinking water.
Activo is installed discreetly beneath the kitchen sink and connects directly to the existing kitchen tap. A separate drinking-water faucet is not required. With a flow rate of up to 8 litres per minute, the system is suitable for drinking water, cooking and normal everyday kitchen use.
The system requires no electricity and produces no wastewater during filtration. Naturally occurring minerals remain in the water.

Easy installation and cartridge change
Activo AB22 connects to the cold-water supply beneath your kitchen sink and sends filtered water directly through your existing kitchen tap. No drilling in the countertop required.
The system is supplied with the first AB22 cartridge, mounting bracket, connection hoses, fittings and the components required for a quick and easy installation.
Typical installation time: approximately 10-15 minutes.

What is Activo AB22?
Activo AB22 is a stainless-steel under-sink water filter for treated municipal tap water. It uses Holmblad’s coconut-based activated carbon block to reduce PFAS, pesticides, chlorine, microplastics, selected heavy metals and more than 100 other potential impurities.
Does Activo reduce PFAS?
The AB22 carbon block is designed to reduce several PFAS compounds, including PFOS, PFOA and PFNA. Actual performance depends on the compounds present, their concentration, water quality, flow rate and timely cartridge replacement. See the available test documentation for specific results.
What is the advantage of stainless steel?
The stainless-steel housing is durable, reusable, corrosion-resistant and compatible with standard 10-inch Holmblad cartridges. Only the internal cartridge needs regular replacement.
Does Activo reduce limescale?
The standard Activo AB22 configuration is not intended for limescale reduction. A dedicated limescale cartridge or a two-stage configuration is required for protection against scale deposits.
Does Activo remove nitrate or TFA?
No. Activated carbon is not designed to reliably remove dissolved substances such as nitrate or TFA. For these substances, consider a suitable reverse-osmosis system.
Does Activo require a separate faucet?
No. Activo can normally be connected directly to the existing kitchen tap.
Does Activo affect water pressure?
Activo is designed for a flow rate of up to 8 litres per minute. Actual flow depends on incoming pressure, installation and cartridge condition.
How often should the cartridge be replaced?
In chlorinated water: 24 months. In non-chlorinated water: 12 months.

Can Activo be upgraded?
