Water Filter Guide – Find the Right Filter

A. Regular clean tap water

  • Use: 1-stage filter – Coconut-based activated carbon block

  • Removes: chlorine, taste, odor, pesticides, chemicals, PFAS, heavy metals

  • Retains: minerals and high water pressure

  • Features: easy, fast, and space-saving installation

  • Low operating cost

Tip: 1-stage filters are often the best choice in normal water conditions.

B. Water at risk of bacterial contamination

  • Use: 4-stage ultramembrane filter

  • Removes: particles, dirt, pesticides, PFAS, and bacteria

  • Retains: minerals and high water pressure

  • Features: easy, fast, and space-saving installation

Tip: UF filtration also offer higher filtration of microplastics and ultra fine particles

C. Water with dirt or discoloration

  • Use: Multi-stage filter – Activated carbon block + prefilter

  • Removes: particles, dirt, pesticides, PFAS

  • With pre-filter to protect the main cartridge

  • Quick and easy installation

Tip: Also ideal for use with old installation and old water pipes

D. Well water or rainwater

  • Use: Multi-stage filter with ultramembrane

  • Removes: bacteria (E. coli, Legionella), particles, PFAS, heavy metals

  • With pre-filters to protect carbon block and ultra membrane

  • Quick and easy installation

Tip: Rising temperatures and more extreme weather increase the risk of bacteria in your own well.

E. Areas with high nitrate or TFA

Tip: Comes with remineralization cartridge to restore healthy minerals.

Filter Types

1-stage filters – Simple and effective

Multi-stage filters – Extra filtration

Reverse osmosis – Maximum purification

  • Reverse osmosis (RO) filter

  • Filters down to 0.0001 micron

  • Removes 99.9% of impurities including PFAS, pesticides, nitrate, and bacteria

  • Produces extremely pure water

  • Consider for maximum safety and the cleanest possible water

Recommendations

Daily filtration of water from the waterworks:
1-stage filter – Coconut-based carbon block

Dirty / cloudy water:
Multi-stage filter – Activated carbon block + prefilter

Well water / bacteria:
Multi-stage + ultramembrane

Maximum filtration of water from waterworks:
Reverse osmosis (RO)

Maintenance

  • For optimal performance, change intervals must be observed

  • For well water, more frequent changes may be necessary
