Filtration

What is being filtered
out of your drinking water

What is being filtered:

Coconut-based activated carbon block and ultra membrane water filtration

We provide the latest generation coconut-based active carbon block and ultra membrane water filter cartridges, delivering eco-friendly water filtration with exceptional filtration capabilities and extended durability.

Outlined below is a summary of the impurities that can be effectively filtered or greatly reduced from your drinking water.

PFAS

PFAS, PFOS, and PFNA are among the biggest threats to drinking water and a threat that has become very real in recent years, as more extensive testing of drinking water has shown how widespread PFAS substances, actually are in the drinking water. PFAS is associated with the risk of various types of cancer, reproductive and developmental problems, neurological issues such as developmental delays and ADHD, as well as the ability to lose weight.

Pharmaceutical residues

Drugs and medication residues are a growing problem and drugs are found in drinking water more and more often. The precise effect of long-term exposure to a cocktail of pharmaceutical residues is still a subject of ongoing research.

Pesticides

Pesticide residues are found in drinking water all over Europe and the US, and is a problem that is here to stay. Especially drinking water from ground water is found to contain pesticides. Pesticides have been linked to various health issues, including neurological disorders, reproductive problems, and certain forms of cancer.

Heavy metals

Heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, nickel, mercury, copper, chromium, zinc, and lead, which can come from a wide range of sources, including old water pipes, pose a health risk even in very small quantities.

Chlorine and chlorine by-products

When chlorine is added to water, it reacts with existing organic compounds, resulting in the formation of disinfection byproducts (DBPs), most notably trihalomethanes (THMs). This goes for both drinking water and especially when showering in heated chlorine steams. Chlorine by-products are linked to several forms of cancer.
