Oceano 16 Small is a compact water filter designed for installation under the kitchen sink. It is developed for households looking for effective drinking water filtration combined with easy, space-saving installation and an exceptionally fast cartridge change.
 
The system uses an extra-fine 0.5-micron coconut-based activated carbon block that reduces a wide range of potential contaminants in drinking water while retaining important, naturally occurring minerals.
 
The 0.5-micron coconut-based activated carbon block reduces, among other things:
 
Pesticides and herbicides
PFAS compounds, including PFOS, PFOA and PFNA
Chlorine and chloramine
Chlorine by-products such as THMs and HAAs
Microplastics and fine particles
Selected heavy metals
VOCs and chlorinated solvents

Actual reduction performance depends on factors including water composition, the concentration of individual contaminants, water flow rate and cartridge usage time.
 
The filter cartridge contains a densely compressed carbon block made from coconut-based activated carbon. Filtration down to 0.5 micron captures fine particles while providing a high contact time between the water and the filter media.
 
The cartridge's bacteriostatic properties inhibit bacterial growth in and on the filter media, making it suitable for extended use with chlorine-free drinking water.
 
Oceano is manufactured in Italy and designed for discreet installation under the sink. With a diameter of only 8.8 cm and a height of 30 cm including the mounting bracket, the filter requires very little cabinet space.
 
The system connects to the cold-water supply and can be used with your existing kitchen tap. No electricity, storage tank or drain connection is required.
 
Oceano uses a sealed quick-change cartridge that can be replaced without opening a traditional filter housing. Simply twist off the old cartridge and replace it with a new one in seconds.
The sealed design also means that you do not come into direct contact with the contaminants collected inside the cartridge.
 
The cartridge must be replaced after a maximum of 12 months or 11,000 litres – whichever comes first.
