Effective 2-stage filtration with activated carbon and ultrafiltration
 
Ecoline Duo Ultra combines a coconut-based activated carbon block with a 0.01-micron hollow-fibre ultrafiltration membrane. The two filtration stages reduce chemical impurities, microorganisms and ultrafine particles without removing the water’s naturally occurring minerals.
 
Stage 1: Coconut-based activated carbon block
The first filtration stage features our antibacterial AB22 carbon block cartridge. It is designed to effectively reduce chlorine, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, microplastics, selected heavy metals and PFAS compounds such as PFOA, PFOS and PFNA, along with a wide range of other potential impurities.
The compressed coconut-based carbon block also helps improve the water’s taste and odour.
 
Stage 2: Ultrafiltration down to 0.01 microns
The second filtration stage consists of a 0.01-micron hollow-fibre ultrafiltration membrane, which acts as a physical barrier against bacteria and very small particles.
The membrane helps retain bacteria such as E. coli, coliform bacteria, Salmonella and Legionella. It also provides additional filtration of microplastics, sediment and other suspended particles down to 0.01 μm—equivalent to 0.00001 mm.
