The AB22 is a high-performance, antibacterial coconut-based activated carbon block cartridge, developed in Spain for effective and long-lasting drinking water filtration.
 
Designed to reduce over 100 potential impurities, including selected PFAS compounds, pesticides, chlorine, microplastics, pharmaceutical residues and organic chemicals, the AB22 combines advanced filtration technology with an antibacterial treatment that helps prevent bacterial growth within the cartridge.
With a filtration capacity of up to 22,000 litres, a high water flow of up to 8 litres per minute and a service life of up to 24 months in chlorinated water, the AB22 provides a practical and economical solution for everyday drinking water filtration.
 
Advanced Filtration of Over 100 Potential Impurities
 
The AB22 uses a compressed coconut-based activated carbon block with an extensive internal surface area, allowing it to adsorb a wide range of unwanted substances while physically retaining particles.

Unlike reverse osmosis, activated carbon filtration retains naturally occurring dissolved minerals such as calcium and magnesium.
 
Antibacterial Technology – Additional Protection Inside the Cartridge
 
The AB22 incorporates a silver-based antibacterial treatment within its activated carbon structure.
This technology is designed to inhibit bacterial growth on and within the cartridge, helping maintain its hygienic condition throughout its recommended service life.
The antibacterial properties are particularly beneficial in applications using non-chlorinated water, where there is no residual chlorine to inhibit bacterial growth.
 
Important: The antibacterial treatment protects the cartridge itself. It does not replace dedicated bacterial filtration or disinfection when treating microbiologically unsafe water.
 
Recommended replacement intervals:
 
Chlorinated water: Up to 24 months
Non-chlorinated water: Maximum 12 months
Maximum filtration capacity: 22,000 litres
 
The cartridge should be replaced when either the maximum filtration capacity or the recommended service interval is reached, whichever comes first.
Actual service life may vary depending on water quality, operating conditions and daily water consumption.
