The Ecoline AB22+ model is manufactured in the EU, offering high quality, material safety, and effective, long-lasting drinking water filtration.
The Ecoline Duo AB22+ uses two of our antibacterial, coconut-based activated carbon blocks connected in series. This increases the amount of activated carbon, the total filtration surface area, and the contact time between the water and the activated carbon. As a result, it provides enhanced filtration of a wide range of contaminants, including PFAS compounds such as PFOA, PFNA, and PFOS.
Despite the enhanced filtration performance, the system maintains high water flow and practical water pressure while preserving the water's naturally occurring minerals.

Easy installation and cartridge change
Ecoline Duo comes fully assembled with pre-installed fittings and filter cartridges. All you need to do is connect the supplied hoses. Installation typically takes around 10 minutes and normally does not require a plumber. The annual replacement of the filter cartridges is equally simple and can be completed in just a few minutes.

Why choose an EU-made water filter?

What is the difference between Ecoline AB22 and Ecoline Duo AB22+?
Ecoline AB22 uses a single activated carbon block, while Duo AB22+ uses two antibacterial, coconut-based AB22 carbon blocks connected in series. This provides twice the amount of activated carbon, a larger total filtration surface area, and longer contact time between the water and the activated carbon.
Duo AB22+ is therefore designed for those who want a higher level of carbon block filtration.
What does Ecoline Duo AB22+ filter out?
The two AB22 carbon blocks reduce more than 100 potential contaminants, including selected PFAS compounds such as PFOS, PFOA, and PFNA, pesticides and herbicides, microplastics, chlorine and chloramine, THMs/HAAs, selected heavy metals, VOCs, chlorinated solvents, and pharmaceutical and hormone residues.
Why do two carbon blocks provide better filtration?
Water first passes through one AB22 carbon block and then through a second. This increases both the total amount of activated carbon and the contact time between the water and the filter material.
This can improve the reduction of substances that activated carbon effectively adsorbs, including various organic compounds and PFAS.
Does the filter remove minerals from the water?
No. Carbon block filtration is designed to reduce unwanted substances without removing the naturally occurring mineral salts in the water. This distinguishes the system from technologies such as reverse osmosis.
How often should the cartridges be replaced?
Both AB22 cartridges should be replaced after a maximum of 24 months or 22,000 litres, whichever comes first.
Since the cartridges operate in series within the same system, using two cartridges does not increase the total capacity to 44,000 litres.
Are the cartridges antibacterial?
Yes. The AB22 cartridges contain bacteriostatic filter material designed to inhibit bacterial growth within and on the filter material itself.
This should not be confused with a filter designed to remove bacteria from contaminated drinking water. For water with a risk of bacterial contamination, ultrafiltration is a more suitable solution.
How much water can the filter deliver?
Ecoline Duo AB22+ typically delivers around 6–7 litres of filtered water per minute, depending on the installation and water pressure.
This provides a practical flow rate directly from your existing kitchen tap.
Is an additional tap required?
No. The system connects directly to the existing cold water supply beneath the kitchen sink, allowing filtered water to flow through your existing kitchen tap.
Does the filter produce wastewater or require electricity?
No. Ecoline Duo AB22+ requires neither electricity nor a drain connection and produces no wastewater during filtration.
Can Ecoline Duo AB22+ be used if the water contains sand or rust?
Duo AB22+ is primarily designed for clear municipal drinking water.
If the water contains sand, rust, or other visible sediment, we recommend Ecoline Duo AB22 instead, which includes a separate sediment pre-filter before the carbon block.
What are the dimensions of the filtration system?
The system measures approximately 32 × 28 × 14 cm and is designed for discreet installation beneath the kitchen sink.
What is included with Ecoline Duo AB22+?
The system comes complete with a dual filter housing, 2 × AB22 carbon block cartridges, pre-installed fittings, connection hoses, wall-mounting brackets, a filter housing wrench, and installation instructions.
